Django Djunkies September 22

They're coming back! We are so excited to have Django Djunkies back with us Live on the Patio - Sunday Sept 22, 2024. Music starts at 2pm, and they'll play two 45 minutes sets. As the air turns crisp, we thought we'd liven things up again with some Gypsy Jazz! Join us for a communal fire pit, swinging tunes and of course: cider!

The Django Djunkies play music known as Gypsy Swing or Gypsy Jazz. This is a style of music from the 1920s which is based on a European interpretation of early jazz and jazz standards in combination with European influenced styles. Django Reinhardt and Stephan Grappelli were early proponents of this style and modern performers such as Bireli Lagrene and Stocholo Rosenberg (Rosenberg Trio) carry on the tradition. Their group consists of two guitars, bass guitar and mandolin/violin virtuoso Conrad Kipping.
